Make 2010 the Year That You Have a Community of Support to Fulfill Some of Those New Years Resolutions

Short Philosophy of Teaching:

1) I have Gurus and I admire many of them but I am a guide not a guru, I want to help you to find yourself and your Self and your connection and service to Source. I use everything I can that works and I have had lots of practice.  The best teachers were those who taught me what not to do, through experience.

2) I come from a very strict religious tradition but I am not afraid to call things like they are right now, and am serious about helping you to authentically  be you and live a life you feel good about.

3) It is my experience that for any growth to happen we have to live on our own personal edges not someone else's. When we stay focused on where we want to go, rather than sticking on the pain of where we have been longer then necessary, growth and joyful transformation, even miracles, are possible.

4) We all need empathy, but no one is helpless. We all have a lot of capacity to influence our negative circumstances and the places where we are stuck. And all of us are stuck in some places even when other parts of our lives work well.  Part of the influence that keeps us stuck comes from our unconscious thought patterns which I can help you change. Part comes from how aligned we are with our trusted Source, part comes from Grace. A great vehicle for  Grace  is a supportive community, which I like to create in these classes.

5) One of my favorite things to do in life is to help people who are talented and spirited but stuck somewhere to turn that part of their life around. I also love to meditate and help people find healing in relationship to their trusted Source, (that means Inner Truth and also God).

6) As far as the Law of Attraction goes, I have practiced it on and off for about 20 years. I have written 5 page descriptive lists that have come true more than once.  I have also struggled with the idea of not wanting to interfere with God's will.  My sense of this now, is that we all create all the time. Supersoul in our heart is always working to fulfill our desires. I want to help people to allow spirit/the universe/God to help us to co-create more CONSCIOUSLY.

7) I am very passionate about creating communities of support so that all of that knowledge we have been collecting from all those books we have read gets off the shelf and into rocking our world, in a really exciting and life affirming way.

Some official blah blah blah (but it helps to know, right?)

After a series of profound and spontaneous experiences of Awakening in her teens, Ananda Goldstein-Damerla M.Ed., Ph.D(c) began her studies in Personal Transformation, Mind-Repatterning, East-West Psychology and Enlightenment at Naropa University in 1990. During a class with "What is Enlightenment" Magazines founder, Alan Cohen, she  met a Trance channel named Oceana who taught her personally how to manifest and harness the Law of Attraction as a practice facilitate self awareness and to gain money for her studies and travels.  In the last 20 years she has taught and coached hundreds of participants worldwide, breaking ground on topics related to creating lives on Spiritual Purpose that felt good to their Hearts and allowed for Material Balance and Prosperity. She has led workshops at international Yoga Conferences, Ashrams and Mind-Body Expos.  Additionally, she has done interdisciplinary academic, spiritually infused research for two well published authors in the Yoga field and created multi-cultural and character forming curriculum for North Carolina Public schools. She first started creating 'Rejuvenation Circles' soon after Katrina in New Orleans. Facing her own burnout with her husband in Medical Training, a 2 year old son and a city in ruins- she created a program which synthesized her skills, talents and passions to help those who came to rebuild the city (including herself) to keep their chins up and to gain the tools they needed to create a lives that utilized their talents, passions and struggles and made their hearts sing!

Her favorite tools come from Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, Rogerian Empathy, Marshall Rosenbergs  Non-Violent Communication, Sufi and Quaker Contemplation on the Heart, Yogi Bhajan's 'Happy, Healthy and Holy Women's Teachings,' Gail Straub and David Gershon's 'Empowerment,' Krishna's Bhagavad Gita, and the Law of Attraction.  In most cases, she has been trained and certified to teach these modalities by their very founders or an authorized lineage holder-who has very close connections with the innovator.

Her Ph.D work involved Educational Leadership in the realm of making public schools more heart centered and for that work she was invited to the Dean's list.  She has been certified in Empowerment Life Coaching; Yoga (500 Hours in Kundalini Prenatal and Children's, Dharma Mittras Raja/ Hatha Yoga, Shiva Rea's Trance Dance), Bhakti Sastri (A Hindu Seminary Degree), Hypnotherapy and most recently attended an 8 day retreat training with Marshal and Valentina Rosenberg in Non-Violent Communication
